We’re starting a new series that celebrates our rural, resilient, and entrepreneurial community. Join us for candid conversations with some of rural Vermont’s most passionate and influential startups and small business owners.

Aureon (AJ) Nommik is an NEK native and restaurant entrepreneur, with ventures including Salt Bistro in downtown St. Johnsbury, the Vermont Catering Company, and Cooking with AJ, a cooking class for low-income households. During the pandemic he has boosted St. Johnsbury's vibrancy with outdoor seating and live music events at Salt Bistro, and is working to launch a new food truck, Vermont Street Eats. AJ will join us to talk about his journey from graduate of New England Culinary Institute to successful restaurateur, and his plans for growth amid the pandemic.

We'll be broadcasting on Facebook Live, so visit our profile page at 1pm on Tuesday, August 18th for the livestream: www.facebook.com/DoNorthCoworking
